 "Fatboy" Thesis and Embedding Quotes Practice

Write a thesis statement that would argue that the fatboy in Owen Marshall's "Fatboy" was used as a scapegoat for all of the crimes that were committed in the town.

Embedding Quotes 

The men coming from the railroad yards told the management that "the fat kid is the look-out for the ring taking all of the stuff"(Marshall 6).

Partner A:  On the same paper please write 5 sentences with a quote embedded in each to prove that the fatboy got blamed for each crime.

Partner B:  On the same paper please write 5 sentences with a quote embedded in each to prove that the fatboy was not to blame for each crime (explain who really could have done the crime).
