2018-2019 School Year!

I will be posting the agendas and the homework for this class on this temporary blog until Canvas is up and running for the year.  Thank you for your patience with the Canvas issue.

Please submit your summer homework into the three piles that I have organized in the front of the room:

*If you did not complete the Honors Summer Homework for any reason, please see me now so that I can discuss your options.

When you have turned in your summer homework assignments, introduce yourself to someone new that you do not know and find out the following information: name, best part and worst part of their summer. Only share information that you are comfortable sharing out with the whole class!

Do this again with a different "new" person and be prepared to share out with the class.

5 Points Extra Credit for the class period that wins Talking Tire (without cheating)!

HW=

1. Review Lord of the Flies characters, themes, and plot events.  You will be taking a Lord of the Flies Test in class on Wednesday 8/15/18, taking a Reading Placement confirmation assessment on Thursday 8/16/18  and writing an in-class essay on Friday 8/17/18.

2. Bring an electronic device (something other than your phone) to use for class activities starting tomorrow for the rest of the semester.
