Probable Passage Activity

Write a “probable passage” paragraph that predicts the content of the play by using all the words from the list. Collect.

After the play is read, you will return to the passage and make corrections to your initial summaries.

1.  Read "A Doll's House" Act 1.  Do the Act 1 Study Questions due on Friday 1/27/17. Be prepared for an Act 1 Quiz on  Friday as well.

2. Complete the Character List for "A Doll's House" as you read.  I will collect the lists when we are finished reading the play.

3. LC Analysis Presentation is due on Friday Feb 3, 2017.  I will also be collecting your LC Task Sheets on that day.

Literature Circle Book Review Group Assignment

Book Review Requirements:
Synopsis-short summary of the book without giving away the ending 
Historical context (Social Construct)
Background information (Setting)
Discuss one theme from the book and how it may or may not still stand true today in today’s society
Think of a creative way to review your book for the class.  You may choose one of the following ideas or you can come up with your own creative idea:
Create a video that reviews your book and upload it to a site such as YouTube 
Create a presentation that reviews your book using PowerPoint or Prezi 
Facilitate a mock Interview with the author that will review the book (live or recorded)
Create a Book Trailer (live or recorded) that reviews the book
Reminders:
All Group members MUST be involved in creating or performing/presenting the presentation.
All Group members will receive the same grade on this Book Review Assignment
