On a piece of binder paper titled "Bildungsroman HW" that will be collected tomorrow please answer the following questions:

1) Define Bildungsroman.
2) Name three famous Bildungsroman tales and explain why each is considered a Bildungsroman tale.
3) Is Persepolis a Bildungsroman tale? Explain why or why not.
4) Have you ever felt like no one understood you or that you did not fit in?  Explain.
5) Why is Marjane always an outsider?  Why is this an important theme in the book?
