Start a piece of binder paper with the title:
Persepolis Notes/Quotes/Summary pages 1-32

1. Read, take notes and find quotes (pages 1-32 of novel) for each section or "Chapter" in Persepolis up to page 32.
You should have Notes (at least 3 bullet points) and one quote for each of the following sections:
The Introduction, The Veil, The Bicycle, The Water Cell, and Persepolis. (5 sections total)
You should also have a one paragraph summary at the end of your notes that summarizes all 5 sections and how Marjane is changing and what new things she is observing about her family.
2. Try to find Persepolis at a used book store, the public library, or on amazon if you do not want to read the on line version.
2. The 'Yellow Wallpaper" Essay is due via turnitin before class this Friday 9/30/16!
3. Read your LC text and work on your LC task for this week.
4. There will be a substitute tomorrow in class. Please bring a draft of your "Yellow Wallpaper" essay to work on in class and be prepared to submit it to turnitin.com in class if you are finished.
