Write down the following lit terms on binder paper with the Title: Persepolis Lit Terms

Explicit – clearly stated so there is no room for confusion or questions.

Implicit – implied or suggested, but not clearly stated.

Inference – a conclusion made based on both information/evidence and reasoning.

Denotation - the literal or primary meaning of a word

Connotation - the feelings or ideas that the word suggests

Write down 8 of the words that you see in the video and write the denotation and a different connotation of each word. 

Example: 

The name ‘Hollywood’ connotes such things as glitz, glamour, tinsel, celebrity, and dreams of stardom. 

The name ‘Hollywood’ denotes an area of Los Angeles, worldwide known as the center of the American movie industry.
